Balto is a very chill guy.
Right now prefers indoors - probably due to all the time he spent outdoors (you may recognize him from the pups that came in from Northern Saskatchewan before the Cull).
Very well behaved - Gold Star ⭐ Balto!

Reeger
Reeger: The Toughest Little Warrior🐾💪
If Reeger could talk, we’re pretty sure he’d have an epic story to tell….something about a heroic battle against a gang of wild beasts, complete with dramatic slow-motion action sequences. 😏
In reality, this sweet 7-year-old Shih Tzu mix had an unfortunate run-in with coyotes, but against all odds, he lived to tell the tale (or at least wag it).💕
Chance
Meet Chance: The Wobbly, Wiggly, Armpit-Nuzzling Wonder🐶
Chance had a bit of a rough start (and by that, we mean a complete human failure—seriously, you don’t want to know). 😣
But despite it all, this sweet, medium-sized pup is full of love, resilience, and just a tiny bit of wobble. Think of him as a puppy with built-in dance moves. His head trauma left him a little unsteady, but don’t worry….he’s not auditioning for a role as a Weeble. He should be just fine! It’s not really that noticeable!🐾

❓ Unknown with dogs (foster only has a cat, but believes he'll likely be fine)
❌ Not for a home with younger children because he scares with loud noises and sudden movements.
Spike
Spike the Sweetheart
💘Spike is an absolute sweetheart.
He acclimatized very quickly to myself, routine and my pups.
He is a little shadow, and just wants to be involved.
He knows how to sit and shake a paw and asking him to stay is coming along.
He will paw at you for attention.
He is clumsy and can sometimes hit you in the face by accident. He is a bit mouthy but is gentle.
He had only 2 accidents in my house since being there for 2 weeks.
🍝He is very food motivated and he has a healthy appetite.
He is starting to play more and more each day.
💤Kennel Training - Going great, goes in easy and sleeps through the night in the kennel, a dog bed or his humans bed.
🐕🦺Needs some work on his leash training, he is not a fan of it right now (lays down when you try to guide him on a leash).
Lucy
March 19, 2025 - Lucy has come a long way since being in her foster home!! When she first arrived she was quite shut down from a life of breeding; she was comfortable with the other dogs, but avoided human interaction as much as she could. While she's still not one to go up to strangers, she has come to love attention and affection from her foster family.
Like the little mermaid, one of Lucy's favourite things to do is to collect little trinkets and treasures from humans.
We never know if it will be an empty bottle, the bathtub plug, her human foster sister's headband, or something else completely unexpected - but we love seeing what she comes up with each day! And because they're treasures to her, she takes care of them. She will carry them around or put them next to her on her bed, but she doesn't (usually) chew on them.
