Ramee's Healing Journey

This sweet boy has truly stolen our hearts, and we’re cheering him on every step of the way. Ramee has shown incredible courage through every challenge he’s faced.
After breaking both of his front legs, plates were placed to help them heal. Unfortunately, his right leg kept developing back-to-back infections.
After careful investigation, our amazing vets at Windermere discovered that bacteria was sitting directly on the plate, causing more harm than good. They removed the plate since the leg was mostly healed. Ramee will now need very limited activity while he recovers once again.
He’ll remain on medical hold for another 1–2 weeks to ensure his leg heals properly and the infection stays away for good.
Let’s send healing hugs to our brave boy... he’s truly special and deserves every bit of love.
Ramee’s journey has been challenging, and we still have a remaining VET BILL OVER $600 to cover for his care.

Through Your Pets Eyes Rescue is a non profit animal rescue organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats in the Edmonton and Central Alberta Region.

To ensure healthy animal-human relationships through education and advocacy of up to date scientific and humane treatment of animals. We are proudly force free and have vetted wonderful force free fosters, volunteers, and adopters.

We avoid shaming, rather we gently council those who are willing to further understand the meaning and importance of force free.
